Our family has really been enjoying the warm weather for the past week or two. We have been working in the yard (can you say tired and aching muscles? :) We are also taking advantage of the beautiful warm days by eating a few meals together on our deck.
In the sewing studio we are currently working on lots of Spring clothes and dresses for Easter. Let us help get your little one ready for the coming holiday by designing a very special dress or outfit. We hope you plan to attend Easter services at your church to honor and give thanks to our risen Savior.
It is time to begin thinking about lots of cute spring and summer clothes for the kiddies! We will be updating and adding more new items to our website in the next week or two. Check our other pages for some fun new items and then, come back often to see what we have coming out later this month. Remember, we make most of our clothing to custom order.

Dresses - We have a fun new Easter dress for your little cutie. I ordered five new dress patterns (Girls size 3-8) and received them
last week. That means we'll have more cute dresses and tops coming soon!!! We are already working on special order Easter
dresses. Call to order yours before it is too late. It is getting crowded in the sewing studio, or as the grandgirl calls it "the
sewing 'shine room, Mamaw"! Our fabric stash is growing and we have lots of spring / summer fabrics for one-of-a-kind
outfits.
We have lots of Easter and other applique designs to choose from (for girls and boys) and several colors of short-sleeve
t-shirts in stock. T-shirts can also be used as the top section of twirly dresses or tops. No buttons, or zippers to fool with.
Kids can put them on easily.
Separates - We are making lots of capri sets for Spring and Summer. Pictures of a super-cute halter top and capri pants are
coming soon. The halter top can be smocked or decorated with rick-rack gathering.
Pics coming soon of a cute, lightweight, cotton jacket / shrug to cover your little miss on chilly Spring mornings or
nights. The pattern we have comes in sizes 3 to 8.

Gifts - Coming soon: We have a fun item to help keep all those small items from getting lost in your purse, or tote bag. Watch
for pictures soon. We have a supply of tea towels to embroider. Some new pictures of receiving blankets have been added and
we have some cute burp cloths. Both of these will make great baby shower gifts.
Bows - Think bunnies, flowers, and more!! Alix is now taking orders for fun hairbows for Easter, birthdays, or just for everyday!
Don't wait till it's too late, order bows for your little hunny bunny now.
Hairbow holders are also pictured on this page. They make cute 'wall art' and keep all those bows organized, too, .

Dresses
We have a fun new Easter ensemble for your little cutie. The white sleeveless, high yoke dress from designer Dawn Hansen of Olabelhe, has very full double skirts, the underskirt has a very full pink dot ruffle, and the overskirt has an appliqued bunny with yo-yo tail sitting on green rick-rack grass over a green flowered band. Daisies with pink centers highlight the yoke seam. A little pink dotted shrug and matching headband complete this charming outfit. See the dress page for pricing and sizes available.

About us...
Hi! We are a Mom / Daughter team who love to create beautiful things for our special 2 1/2 year old daughter / grandgirl. We are blessed to live at the foot of Starr Mountain near the beautiful Hiwassee River in Southeast Tennessee.
Debbie has enjoyed creating things with my hands since I was young. Both of my grandmothers enjoyed sewing and making clothes for their families. 9th grade Home Ec began a life-long love affair with fabric, threads, and sewing. When our daughter was around 2 years old, I took smocking as an Adult Basic Ed class. It quickly became a needleart that I love. The recent purchase of a sewing/embroidery machine has opened up the world of machine embroidery and applique.
Alix makes all of our beautiful hairbows, headbands and more for children. She embroiders our key fobs and clothes and is learning all the ins and outs of our embroidery machine. Visits to the fabric store give her the opportunity to choose and coordinate fabrics and bows for the clothes and outfits we make.
Grandgirl had a whole tote full of dresses, bubbles, and other clothes ready for her to wear before she was even born! Since she is growing up around the sewing machines and fabrics, we hope she will be interested in sewing when she gets a little older. She already loves to use our 'swissers' - sometimes when she's not supposed to!
